Guiam, why dont you email the suits at Culver Rd and ask them . I asked one of them at the semi final the exact same question regarding the draw and he choked on his Guinness

as a huge critic for many years, and a winner at every disciple hearing, these formless persons find strength in their collective secret fiddles....apart from one, none of them have ever answered a question or even debated one of their crazy long suspensions. i wont waste my time trying. but i'll keep asking.

Regardless of opinion of whether it's fixed or not, surely the easy solution is to make the draw public. If the same outcome still comes out, at least it's proven to be unfixed.

aye. i'm in the 'not fixed camp' but agree that the draw should be public.

Well I started this so feel I should bring an end it - I didn't realise an innocent post about Seaford would set off the highest viewed post in recent history on the pitch (mainly from guiam and jed accusing each other of paranoia and conspiracy!!). After what i saw of Brighton Reserves I hope Eastbourne win it - I would rather their fans celebrated (another community owned team I believe that like it or not seems to be run on solid lines) than the AMEX lot with their millions and their stadium partly in Lewes District and not really in Brighton at all!!

Assume guiam has gone now so this is safe to post on again. Given our first pre-season game is on the 16th July in Cambridgeshire (same day as this one) this will be an odd game won't it - half a rusty Eastbourne side against Brighton development players. Still gutted King won't lead his New Lewes CFC out at the Amex Community (yeah right) stadium.

You can start as many pages as you like nickyboi?!
Do they really think they will sell 10.000 tickets for this game! (It says so on the BHA website). They also say the away end bar area with have projections of the stars and historical highlights from the team playing and guest beers - what are they going to do for Eastbourne then!!!

Its most probably only going to be 6 a side because both clubs have had clearouts and the players eligable to play were the ones who played for their teams last season.

it wasnt a joke, how many sides in the Conf South or Lewes keep the same players every season. Eastbourne have let players go, some have left , new players have been signed who have played for other Sussex clubs in the SSC last season ie Sonny Cobbs and Ben Watson to name a couple.who wont be eligable. What a cockup by Sussex FA carrying it over to the following season........... Guiam your thoughts lol

As far as Boro go, we have only 2 players signed that are cup tied for the final. Bulk of last seasons squad retained and new players that arrived not taken part. As for the Tesco Carrier bags, they say they will be playing their developemant squad, whatever that means.... oh and gary Hart may well be playing too

Hardly likely that Brighton will have players who are cup tied for the SSC is it.
