haha internet conspiracy theorists do make me laugh. do you think they did the draw on a grassy knoll?
maybe the balls just came out that way. not exactly probability-defying odds.

there would be no conspiricy theory...no discussion at all...if the draw was public and fair. balls dont come out of bags. i bet we are still posting about this next season...and i'll remind you again, i was saying this last season....and prior to that... time the clubs had a proper look at the administrators and their schemes.

I also like the way Boro get home draws all in a row against County League opposition - Rustington, Rye and then Crawley Down (if they beat Rye). Whilst we get Bognor, prob Brighton and Horsham. Oh well - at least we will get a game with Brighton out of it if they beat Sidley tonight. Hopefully they will agree to a switch to the Pan for the 30th March or 6th April!!!!!

jed...have you ever had any kind of dealings with the culver road mafia...i doubt it....or if you sit at the right hand of sepp blatters mates, please explain the year after year coincidences. one of my greatest memories is winning the ssc at the swamp and rubbing it into the suits. paranoid....guilty.

Well - we are all heading for Culver Road (where Brighton Res play their home games unless they switch it) - Brighton won 3-0 - I see Hall & Barker played: www.seagulls.co.uk/page/Latest/0,,10433~2312268,00.html They say they want the game asap for Navarro to get match time - maybe the 16th March, but more likely the 30th March.

no I haven't giuam. you know the only strange thing about coincidences is that they don't happen more often.
certain people will always find an agenda..I guess you would be one of those Manchester City who cry foul after every draw in the FA Cup gives Manchester United a draw they should win. That's done live on TV and still it doesn't stop them!
As for the tie v Brighton...hopefully it will be switched to the Pan and played on a date that suits both teams.

I know in our present form we are unlikely to defeat a strong and unbeaten Brighton reserve team, (who play a league game again today, they won again last week with Navarro, Hall and Barker playing), but for those that are hopeful Horsham replay against Burgess Hill tonight to play the winners of our tie at home in the semi.

And Horsham won 3-1 tonight - so if we beat Brighton Res (!) we play Horsham away in the Semi. Brighton Reserves also played today and drew 1-1 with Aldershot Reserves - here is a link and you can see the team they put out www.seagulls.co.uk/page/Latest/0,,10433~2322827,00.html

A point and two questions - poyet seems to come to the reserve games, so that will be nice! Firstly do the same rules as last year apply ie if we are level after 90 do we play extra time but no penalties? Secondly if we do beat brighton and horsham (!) then what sort of side would we have to put out in early july. I am of course available. . .

In the quarters B/Hill v Horsham went to extra time and a replay so I think that's a yes.
You might need a short with 85 on or something like that. After all it would technically be this season's game??

I know you are all interested in Eastbourne Borough's result tonight in the Senior Cup - they beat County League team Rye 3-0 tonight and face......another County League side in the semi - Crawley Down Village (who I believe are quite good..)

sorry jed....how do you think they ended up in their final. would the spanish fa have a few euros extra if it had been two other teams. as far as i know, the openess of the FA cup is the only draw i trust. blatter has fiddled the world cup for years. europe changed the rules so the champions league has forth placed teams in the competition...why....theres no money in the 'little' teams and tv demands the superstars on offer. i state this now.....there has been a bias towards the swamp for many years and it's time that the clubs in the county demanded open and fair treatment from the greedy thiefs from culver rd.

the cup final at the Amex would be a sell out if the game was between Clymping and Mile Oak.

i agree jed. the albion fans are desperate to get there after a very long wait and they deserve their success. so what are the circumstances that blatters men have fiddled to get a few bob and another freeby day. how much are they getting...what do they intend to do with this windfall. how many in their party. next season should be the start of open and fair ssc draws so that people like me can stop moaning.
