You seen him play a lot then Nickyboi? Or is this another of those St Aimie "fantastic signing" comments from you again.

hahaha i do understand my comments about St Aimie were a bit rushed if you will, but i was so excited to see us sign a player who has proven he can do a job in our league not a job coming on in the last 10 minnets at ryaman one south level but those times are over ! But back to the question about Malcom. I have indeed seen him play a few years ago before i came to the rooks i did go to watch Crawley games when the albion wernt playing and i thought Malcom was class on the wing and caused a threat to any full back he came up against. Glad i stoped going to Crawley and instead coming to watch the rooks

the answer to rooksarethebest question, only one of the names is a Lewes u18 player (Phillips) who played once for the first team last season against Bognor at the back and I understand from some the other rook fans that we had four seniors on trial on Saturday.

He was a good player at Weymouth and we were all excited when Crawley signed him. Unfortunately he was too lightweight for the BSP and eventually was released and moved on to Hayes and then Farnborough. Plus he was playing in a pretty average Crawley team and often out of position. Michael is a decent lad who has excellent pace, but he needs confidence. Personally I think he would be a very good signing for Lewes, he can definitely do a job in the Rymans and BSS. Play him wide right and he will set up goals for the front two for sure.

So on Saturday some more players: CM- Dwayne Striling - ? CM- Jed Wallace - Farnborough ST- Michael Malcolm - Farnborough GK- Mark Zawdaski - Horsham Dryer ? Mustafa? Mayeg? Merchant? Phillips? I presume some of these are on trial? And some may be under 18's? As hairbea1 says, Josh Phillips is now a second year U18 and a highly rated one at that. 'Dwayne Striling' is in fact Dominic Sterling a very experienced centre back formerly of Aldershot, Canvey and most recently Staines. Hulusi Mustafa is an attacking midfielder who was at Tilbury last season.
