Surely Lewis Hamilton is not the only player retained from last season. Thought at least Breach would have been asked to stay

Breach and Barness have both had offers from king. Thanks Hendley but until these offers are accepted and it's official then I can't put them on the retained list.

I think Wormull is a player/manager and what about SK himself? He strolled onto the pitch a few years ago but I don't think he was a player manager in the BSP promotion year. I'll have to check an old programme.

I think he turned out against Banstead Athletic for the last 10 minutes in the last game of the season in Ryman 1S.

You have a better memory than me. However, I am sure in our first conference south season, SK retained player/manager status.

Where is captain Breachy?

Maybe Breachy doesn't fancy his chances of getting in the team with Robbo and Hustwick around. Shame if he goes.

can't see why a player of his standard would want to leave when he was captain and showed so much passion for the rooks even when times were hard. Maybe he was forced out as King was bringing in his Farnborough players?

Don't think so. I heard he had an offer to stay. Maybe too much competition now?

His offer to stay is a joke. Like the advert says, go compare. One of you try speaking to him and ask him if he feels wanted. Oh, and he dose not need to pay an agent.

Deja vu? Memories of Cabes and Danny Davies...
Still the manager makes his decisions, that's his job.

yes, that's true, every manager has his own opinion and I'm sure Breachy knows this more than anyone. But for his loyalty and for being our best player last year surely he was worth a place in the starting eleven especially as we are a league lower this season. He proved he was more than capable to compete in Conference South & Prem. and must be gutted that after sticking with us through the hard times and being one of our loyal players, he finds he is not wanted or received an offer that did not reflect this, as stated in previous post Quote ' A joke'

At the end of the day i would rather Robinson than Breach. But i do agree Breach has always given it his all and it would be fantastic to see 3 class centre backs next season.

I'd love to see Breachy retained. Great guy and so popular with the fans. His headed goals were some of last season's few highlights. I have no idea what deal he has been offered but I'd only say that we can't criticise if Kingy is working within his budget to produce the best value for money team he can deliver. Seems to me that Howardcolumbo wants to whinge both ways - have a go at the possibility of the manager over-spending his budget (which is itself impossible as the manager's budget is set by the Board so only they can sanction 'overspending') and also have a go when the manager sets a wage offer to a player that enables the club to have what the manager sees as the kind of price the club can afford for a player who will be part of a successful team. We have to wait and see. If Kingy is seen to get it wrong after a dozen games have been played then fans can feel free to whinge.
