Sutton was at Hastings. Would like to see Cobbs and Ide stay. Ide was a big lose to the midfield when he got injured last season

Excited, But not overexcxited I know theres only one David Wheeler hence the comma and Dale isn't even a Lewes player yet but i hope he is soon, I just had thoughts of both of the outlets wide and the attacking options. All presumptious I know but one can dream

So who are the "couple I want to keep"?
I reckon probably Dave Wheeler. But who else? Breachy? Barney? Winterton? Hamilton?

I think Robbo and Breach would work well at the back but maybe a little slow.I still think we should keep Andy Pearson who i believe was a little under used last season and seemed to lose some confidence.Still a local lad and the right age.

That is my website slowly gave it up as I was slashing my wrists during the Kevin Keehan reign. Not looked at it since then might tidy it up some when if I get the time but doubt I will restart it again.

Some good photos on that site including the redevelopment of the Pan.
Including one with Steve King smiling nonchalantly whilst a female volunteer struggles with a big sheet of corrugated iron in the background.
Those were the days.

Just wondering if there's any clarification on the application process.
The BBC interview says that Steve King applied for the job, yet The Argus interview contradicts this.
"King said: “The situation turned sour at Farnborough and I had three other offers but then Lewes approached me. I felt after speaking to the board that Lewes was the right place for me right now."
I think that King will bring back the good football we previously had and I'm hopeful we can push for promotion this season, but definitely next season. I'd like him to prove a few people wrong this year and bring in young Sussex players but I do fear we won't see that. But if we are successful within budget, does it matter?

There is a 3 (!) page thread dedicated to Kingys return to Lewes on the Eastbourne Borough forum. They must be as excited as we are to show such an interest. ;D ;D ;D Or maybe they are just worried that we might be on the way back.
