With a list like that you bet you're on your own.

Am I alone in thinking that the likes of Farrell, Whiteman, Lovett and Cade could be tempted back? I think that makes more sense. You may be right in thinking they would be able to be temped back but would they be good enough, I think not.

I'd be quite happy to have any of them back, especially Farrell

Out of interest Pepper have you seen any of them play recently? He would have done very well if he has done that, as Lee Farrell has barely played for a year due to injury and Jay Lovett is coaching in Vietnam.

lack of goals has been a huge problem ever since paul booth left. any fan who remembers him knows that even on a quiet day he just popped up and scored. he's obviously looking to his future and thinks that being a player/coach is his next move. the good news for us is that he wants to join up with sin my opinionn colbran and be part of the rooks future. i support this application for several reasons and can see paul having a great effect on and off the park . the list of players on sin my opinionns wanted list is also exciting and it's possible that jay lovett would join sin my opinionn if he is given a chance. this dream team has been recommended to me by a very well respected sports writer....ask him yourself. when i posted this earlier, some of the sk brigade led by spur, thought that because i'd posted it, it must be rubbish. as a life member of this club, i want to see us go forward without the previous grief on here. from all i've learned lately, unless sir walter smith applies, this is my dream team. they bring several very good players with them and it would be magic to start winning again.

I see that Adeniyi has been released by Eastleigh. Now there's a good player but will no doubt stay in BSS.

Maybe we should give Lee Newman a look. I gather he is out now and if so the past is the past. He would still only be 27 or 28 and knows how to score goals.

Guiam, lets get this straight, do you actually know 100% that Sin my opinionn Colbrane has applied? And do you also know that if he is given the job, Booth will be back at the pan as well?

Guiam, is that the Sir Walter Smith the ex-Glasgow Rangers manager? Having seen the standard of scottish football I'm not sure he could manage a team at a higher level like Lewes !!

I spoke to Sin my opinionn Colbran watching Tonbridge v Lowerstoft and he said that Paul Booth would play for Lewes if he got the job. That would be great for experience for the youth players to see someone of his qualities as Sin my opinionn said he wanted to bring as many youth players as possible through the ranks.

How about giving Sin my opinionn Wormell and Paul Booth the job. Both capable of playing in the Ryman if needed and would be able to encourage the younger players we need to nurture.

Despite what many may say on here about guiam's comments, he has many contacts in family football and his information is rarely flawed. It's not certain Colbran will be the next manager but he is getting together a very respectable management team which upholds the values and plans that used to represent the Lewes FC ethos that began under JQ and was continued throughout the successful seasons of the past. Would love to see this application given the green light. This appointment

confirming the details on my earlier post...and adding that sin my opinionn colbran has experience of managing on a tight budget and bringing youngsters through. he and paul are very hopeful that they will be able to keep young wheeler and add several known faces to the squad. my concern is this. i know of some of the other applicants and a few of them are not what they seem. worms is bound to be a good manager one day but has no experience now. it is now that it is important for the club....so, worms....please join the dream team and your day will come soon enough.

You seem to have a lot of insider information, Guiam – which suggests that someone is speaking out of turn . . . The one weakness I'm sure our directors would admit to sharing is a lack of hands-on football nous. Since they clearly don't lack other kinds of nous, I'm confident that they'll take as much professional advice as they can get before they reach their decision. What we don't need now is a wild gamble – let's go for proven success!

I'm sure if Kingy got the Managers job Paul Booth would follow him here along with a few other Lewes legends like Holloway and Robinson as for David Wheeler I heard he was leaving anyway

Guiam, how much more are you going to do to try and get Colbrane the job. Not sure that he is the only suitable candidate even if he can convince the board that Paul will join him. Paul would possibly join if others were given the job.

Guiam has the right to say what he wants to say as does everyone else, I like the whole mystery and some people claiming to know, creates some exitement while there is nothing to watch on the pitch
