I have probably started off a poll like this before, but I don't remember, so here we go again! Would you like Ibbo to be manager next season? I would really like to see Ibbo as manager next season, as he seemed to motivate the players for the last few games of the season, even though we had been down for months before. He also seems to have the full backing of the fans, especially after hearing the chants at the last couple of games of the season. However, I think a lot depends on whether Ibbo wants the job, as although he would be a popular choice, he has expressed doubts over whether he is the best man to take the club forward.

Whatever happens, Ibbotson's future at the club should be secure. I would rather he wasn't manager if it meant failure would see him leave us. His work is too valuable to lose, particularly at a time like this.

I said yes but I'm on the fence as he would be as good if not better for the yourth team but then if he wasn't first team coach who would we have. As if we get someone else then they may not use the youth to as good effect as ibbo.

Ibbo has indicated that like Hidinck, he doesn`t want to commit beyond the end of the season. He has done a great job in impossible circumstances. he should begiven first refusal on the vacancy, but out of respect for what he has done, his arm shouldn`t be unduly twisted. If Ibbo didn`t want to re-commit, I`d try for Jimmy Quinn. But I can tell you now - that ain`t gonna happen.

I thought he took a demoralised team and put more organisation and life into it. The players he brought in from outside e.g. Jirbandey and esp Rooney looked good and I would be more than happy with him bringing on the u18s through the side. I say give him the chance with Hopkinson etc heading up the youth set-up.

we need someone experienced and skilled at the job like Steve King was its no good giving the job to someone thats done effectively no better results wise than that loser keehan. What do the Borad of Directors do all day if they cant come up with a better manager then we will nose dive down the league again next season. We need some proven experience. In fact why not get Steve King back could do a lot lot worse. Bring back Kingy!

You must be a complete moron if you think Ibbo doesn't have experience what clubs has SK played for erm none really, one club in particu;ar that Ibbo played for (i think) was Leeds. He has also been an assisatant and manager of loads of clubs in and around the lewes area then his break really was to become the U18s Lewes manager and if you aren't skilled at the job do you recon he could of got our U18s to play against hull U18s in the Cup. erm NO!!! He has skills no doubt, he has experience no doubt but he can also stick to a budget.
