:DAndy Black, our volunteer Handyman, together with Lee Cobb, our volunteer Safety Officer, have given up their Sunday to work hard on building a Control Room inside the portacabin down at the Dripping Pan. The requirement for an enclosed Control Room is another new regulation the club has to comply with if it wants to receive a Safety Certificate - and of course without one of these we cannot play football at the Dripping Pan. Big thanks to these guys. Andy in particular has turned out to be a revelation in being able to turn his hand to just about any job that needs doing - be it construction, electrics or plumbing. By the way, lots of options were looked but the eastern end of the portacabin was really the only place that offered the required view of the ground, could be partitioned off and have its own door, had an electricity supply and could be fitted with a direct telephone line. Darren Ford kindly agreed to give up the required space within the portacabin which is also his HQ for his Community & Education activities. By the way, Lee is also working on a list of things that also need doing around the ground before the season kicks off. Fans will have the chance to help when the 'Paint the Pan' days take place on Sundays 24 and 31 July. Watch the official website for an announcement.

Many thanks to all involved. Volunteers are what help to make the club continue to run. Without you guys who knows what state the club would be in.
