:DSeason Tickets have sold very well so far but the deadline for the £150 adults and £75 concessions is this Saturday 16 July. If you've already bought your ticket season have a word with friends (or the missus) to make sure they have applied. It's an absolutely brilliant deal. You can download forms from the official website or email me at: david@lewesfc.com If all else fails I am around most of Friday / Saturday and you can call me on 01273 478513 and we can rendezvous - I can take your money and give you your season ticket on the spot. And maybe give you the name of a horse!

Seven more applications received today. We are around a third up on last year's sales and I anticipate a flurry of more forms coming in over the next couple of days. Be great to be 50% up by Saturday. If we can apply at least a 33% increase to those that pay on the day then when the season gets going it will obviously be a massive boost for the club's finances, enabling the Board to plan with confidence for further improvements to the Dripping Pan experience. It's not out of bounds to also say that gate receipts well ahead of budget expectations must mean there will be some leeway should an injury crisis arise in what's going to be a relatively small Lewes team. So it is clearly beholden on all fans to encourage friends and relations to visit the Pan in the coming months when the Mighty Rooks take to the Dripping Pan. One of today's applicants enclosed a note that read: 'I last had a season ticket three years ago and I would like to take one out for this season. I enclose a cheque for £150.' He didn't say it directly but I think it is an example of the King Factor in action. On the downside the gentleman didn't enclose a return envelope. But not to worry - he's certainly got my 'stamp' of approval so his ticket will definitely get to him.

How many Season tickets have been sold already ? Good news that they are on the rise even though we went down.

We are on 86 so far as against 63 in total last year. A very healthy and welcome increase given the fact we were relegated and that BHA's astonishing renaissance is nearly complete right on our very doorstep. That's why I believe that if Kingy's boys deliver exciting football where we really compete and win a lot of games then our total gates should also rise significantly towards that magic 1000 per match (on average) as we attract more and more of the 'floating' Sussex non-league supporters.
Even so I do think the most significant figure to consider is that of our fans and well-wishers who have so far become shareholders in this rather special community club. They number in quite a few hundreds already (I'm sure a figure of 400 was quoted to me at the art exhibition) and are growing daily. They are signing up via standing orders so their annual share payments (many of which are most generously over the £30 minimum) will go on and on. Just like the Mighty Rooks.

Happy days are here again - and I will be happy to buy another season ticket next year when we are back in the BSS.
