Don't have Sky but apparantly Barness scored 1 for Chelsea against West Ham in the London masters this year, not sure if that was today. He is still yet to do that for us

Shame if Barney and Breach are not in the squad this season, thought they both showed passion for the club even though times were hard, As they say, you can be the best player in the world but you are only as good as the players around you, and sadly that was the case with these two, Both have good footballing backgrounds, but with all the will in the world they could not hold out the continuous bombardment they had to endure when we had no midfield holding the ball, The results didn't reflect their ability, which was a shame as they did the best they could do under the circumstances. I think we had one of the best back 4's in the league, with Pearson and Hamilton included. I hope they all do well, but pity Lewes have not seen fit to reward them all for their efforts

I would like to see the club keep Barney in some form of player/coach role. He has bags of experience at the highest levels which should be invaluable for us. However I would let Chris Breach go, as I honestly think we will be able to find a suitable replacement.
Callouie - I agree the back 4 looked better when it was Barney, Breach, Pearson and Hamilton. However to think that we had one of the best back 4s in the league is well wide of the mark. Ultimately the table doesn't lie. Far too many defensive errors which hurt us - we know now that if we had only managed to turn one of those limp defeats around we could have stayed up. It also hides the fact that the midfield were spending so long on the defensive that we struggled to get forward.

Might give Murdoch's Sky a miss at the moment.

Might give Murdoch's Sky a miss at the moment. Well...err...if it was Murdoch's Sky how come he was trying to buy the 61% he doesn't own (at least till yesterday)?
