I am looking forward to hearing which charities pass the selection process. However, we now know a handful of names whose shirts we might want to sponsor. Can I put my money on Holloway again?

Always thought is odd that Harvey's have never been on the shirts. I do like the charities idea.

Tried numerous times to get Harveys to shirt sponsor, but they were never interested indeed it was hard enough to get them to do the Pitch side ads when I was involved in the commercial side of things. And that only came about because the female rep who was real sweet did an extra cheap deal if we did the boards. I think they are more into rugby!

This thread was more about which player's shirt would you like to sponsor. How much? When? etc. Can I sponsor Holloway's? That kind of thing.

Simple, dont sell the Harveys, I believe Harveys owes the club a explanation why they dont support the club more, they tie themselves to the bonfire which is the past but neglects a local club with a future.

Simple, dont sell the Harveys The trouble with that is a lot of supporters like a pint or two of Harveys at the game. To stop selling it would really cheese off a large chunk of our fan base. Do we really want to do that?

to get rid of harveys would be a massive mistake. voted best beer in uk on many occasions. what would we sell instead? something from sheperd neame which tastes of nats p*ss? as pj says a large chunck of lewes fc supporters enjoy harveys and so do away support..... for example i remember chants of "youve got lovely beer, youve got lovely beer etc". just because they are a local company doesnt mean they must support the club. Plus harveys are more into rugby then football anyway.

Just so you know, Harveys gave the club significant sponsorship support last season and are doing so again this season, but prefer not to overtly publicize it.
They are fully behind the club's new community direction, including lifetime shares purchased at a premium. A wonderful company with wonderful beer.

Really good of the club to offer shirt sponsorship to charitys again. I registered my vote. Wonder when the new sponsor will be announced?

sorry jonathon, didn't realise that there were rules on what to write on this thread.... perhaps it should have been titled players sponsorship, to remove any ambiguity. :-)

Ok I'll start a new thread. This talk of Harvey's completely misses the point. You can all carry on but I'm going to try again. How about "Whose shirt do you want to sponsor?" Will the word sponsor confuse you all. We are talking about coughing up several quids to have our names in the programme next to a picture of our local hero. It could be Robbo, it could be King... you get the idea.

Yep understood jonathan...
Well I'll sponsor Breachy again if he's with the club next season. Did anyone ever receive their signed photos? Sponsored him for last two seasons and got nowt! (not that I'm having a moan).
