I've seen a few donkeys on the pitch at the Pan. Quite recently actually. ;D ;D ;D

On a serious note, if they are looking to replace their floodlights, could we buy them second hand? After all, their ground is new, and the lights must be "A" grade to allow them to play in Conference National. Other clubs upgrade with second hand kit. Farnborough have bought Darlingtons East Stand from Feethams; www.footballstandforsale.com/page/football_stand_for_sale

We do need new floodlights. Ours have had it. I was up there a couple of summers ago looking at some of them. I don't think they will have got any better in that time.

probably not on the list of priorities for the board though? We'll see what happens when we get 2k through the door every week

Forest Green have banned red meat as well ....
To be really eco-friendly they should play all games in daylight hours - wouldn't need floodlights at all. Maybe we could play this eco-card and avoid the embarrassment when they don't work. One game last season (was it Ebbsfleet?) only 3 out of 4 lights in one of the floodlights came on creating a dark patch by the Rook Inn - I am surprised the game went on!

That's nothing compared to a few seasons ago, for an evening game, when we lost two complete pylons before kick off. The two at the Rook Inn end/Convent Field side didn't come on at all. Now that corner certainly was a bit dark that night. But the ref played the match.

The floodlights have been a joke for years and should be upgraded as a priority. What's the state of the toilets nowadays, are portaloos still being used?
