It will be interesting to see if the supporters will still be accommodated on the team coach. It only occasionally happened during SK's previous spell. Maybe finances will dictate that it continues. Or it may be back on the minibus.

I do believe that one saving to be made so as to give as large a playing budget as possible is the non-deployment of a coach except for the very longest trips (Lowestoft etc). It makes sense to me. So what we need to look at again is what we used to do - car-sharing lifts for fans and also letting fans know the best/cheapest public transport links to Ryman Premier grounds when we have away fixtures.

That seems sensible to me. It's the way it used to be in Ryman days with players making their own way there and sharing lifts.
The only downside is when something goes wrong: Such as the time Belgrave and Harvey went to Margates old ground and found it abandoned and locked up. They arrived at Ashford, where Margate where lodging for a while, 10 minutes before kick off. ;D

Travel to away games should be nice and cheap next year given so many teams are accessible on southern trains and their cheap tickets. I only went to Woking last year but fancy a few more this time

If fans are not allowed to travel on the team coach, then I hope a minibus runs, with the fans covering the cost and Roger at the wheel.

It would be good if the clubhouse opened every Saturday around noon. It would be a good meeting place and we can buy food and drink before setting off to an away match. Also on home games bring in extra revenue too.

Pj, was that the Quinn era Ryman or SK's?. From my memory, during Quinnys reign, we always got a coach, along with supporters, please clarify.

I meant that during the conference south years of SK's management it was very rare to go on the team coach. We did it in Ryman though when SK was in charge. I know the players and supporters always shared a coach in Jimmy's days, although I used to drive to most of those games with a car-full.
