:DHavant certainly believe they have a friendly against us according to their guys at the Conference AGM last Saturday. I'm sure confirmation will be on the official site very soon.

As you know, your season ticket will not cover pre-season friendlies but I think it will be a wise investment from then on.

No confirmation of that on the Boro website yet.

I mean there's no confirmation that Lewes and Eastbourne Borough have a mid-week July friendly arranged yet.

If we are at home to Havant on Aug 6, that will clash with the first Championship game at Falmer, BHA v Donny Rovers.
Not that clever, given we are trying to avoid fixture clashes. Better to play Havant on the Friday or Sunday in my opinion.

It's only pre-season so it wouldn't matter really.

Sunday would suit me better. I won't be in Brighton on Saturday, I'll be in Italy. But I'm sure the gate will be high despite the BHA clash and my absence.

We've had frendlies on a sunday before and always seem to attract good crowds, we even played dorchester in the league on a sunday and the gate was higher than the average, maybe the way forward ? ;-)

Ryman Season must start on 20th August then. If we get our way and don't clash with Brighton then the first league home game will be on 27th August (or mid-week on 24th).

Good that common sense has prevailed with Havant now on the Friday. Whitehawk not going to Withdean anymore; www.theargus.co.uk/sport/9117221.Hawks_ditch_Withdean_plans/I thought they were staring down the barrel of a gun over ground grading? Less money on players, more on sorting out the ground needed.
