Does anyone have a idea when the manager is going to be sorted. The longer this goes on players will sign for other clubs, do the board not think about these things?

Latest word is we will know by this Saturday at the very latest. I have no idea who the successful candidate is but there are apparently lots of contractual details to be sorted so there is naturally great hesitation about making a premature announcement that could leave egg on faces. No pain no gain. Come on you Rooks!

If appointing SK were to add 200+ per week to the gate If SK could have access to hiring needed players on command If SK could motivate players and produce promotional seasons If SK could make the fans happy and grateful when watching a match If SK could trust the board to declare the budget and be open about the debts and revenue at all times If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings – nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much: If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And – which is more – you'll be thanked by some, if not many!
If Steve, Nick, Ben, Patrick, Charlie, Eddie and anyone else involved in the decision-making...

surprised it hasnt been announced yet as most people seem to "know" who it will be. I'm looking forward to the season already whoever the manager is.

Too true boovidge. As I said upon his first appointment 'the king is dead, long live blah blah blah' Because of how this has been conducted the announcement will be less of a surprise than Blatter being returned as FIFA President.
