Played in a game at the Pan on Sunday - Lewes Vets (most of the team were Priory leavers 81-84 ish) vs a London Vets team on tour. 2-2 draw. Very big pitch - highlights for me were:
Running the length of the pitch and taking 10 mins to recover. Our second goal - towering header from a corner Fantastic second half save from Don Entire back-line from Priory '81 at one point Unbelievably bad tackle from Pete (on this forum) and his very faint sorry as the London player writhed The changing rooms - blimey they are not glamorous but seeing the very basic York tactic board for corners up in the away dressing room was worth it.
It was about £10 a player to play there and for any Rooks fan well worth it - won't complain about lack of effort so much - it's a big pitch

Played on the pan 2 times and it is a big pitch and feels even bigger chasing the likes of Gary Holloway, Andy Drury and Paul Booth around.

I am actually in the process of arranging a match there for the fans side, just problems with a date at the moment because the women had to re-arrange a game due to a cup final and the u18s have another home game to fit in.

Will it actually be fans this time though Kieran and not just anyone you can get from our football course. (not having a go I'm just saying.)

So they were on a footy course lol cheat My advice to you get a core of a team a mix of youngsters and oldens and just try to have as many games as possible, our fans team has progressed hugely. The other week we matched and maybe bettered at times a Millwall fans team who have been playing with each other for 15years!

If "fans" who said they wanted to play, did, then we'd be fine.
