I thought I would start a thread about last season; the high points, low points, funniest moment, best fans etc. Mine are:
High Point: Beating Oxford United 2-1 at home. Not only was it our first win of the season, we beat one of the best teams in the league.
Low Point: Losing to Leiston in the FA Cup. We didn't have our strongest team out for the replay, but we should still have had enough to win.
Funniest Moment: For me, the funniest moment of the season was when Kevin Keehan was knocked over by a Stevenage player during the game at The Pan.
Best Fans: In my opinion, Cambridge United were the best fans, as not only did they make a lot of noise, they also didn't seem to share the arrogance that some fans of the bigger clubs in the Blue Square Premier had.
Worst Fans: The Grays Athletic fans seemed friendly enough, but in terms of noise and numbers, they would have to be the worst.
Best Away Ground: Oxford United's Kassam Stadium was by far the best away ground this season. It combined an excellent attendance with a fantastic atmosphere.
Worst Away Ground: Again, Grays Athletic win this category. They allocate one uncovered terrace and a few covered seats which, four support that day was fine, but for some of the bigger clubs in the Blue Square Premier, it would not have been adequate.
Player Of The Season: I voted for Joe Keehan, and was delighted that he won the award. He always tried his hardest for the team and, in each of the last ten games, was probably a Man Of The Match contender.
What are people's opinion's?

Did you go to Woking? For me that was the worst away ground by a country mile. The "away" terrace was down one side with NO cover, NO seating, and the worst catering I've seen in recent years. The food choice was prepacked pasties warmed up in the smallest domestic microwave possible. Nothing else available at all. Grays was great compared to that.

High Point: Keehan going or beating Oxford
Low Point: Leiston, Bognor or Havant away when banks rushed out for no reason.
Funniest Moment: Either Keehan falling over Stevenage player or Talking about QNK and him having s** with pigs and pig lady from Leiston.
Best Fans: Cambridge I wish we had enough people to do their version of the Horto Magico chant.
Worst Fans: Ebbsfleet fans where rubbish at theirs, they had 1,000 atleast and they made less noise then the 30 odd that made it from Lewes.
Best Away Ground: Oxford hands down.
Worst Away Ground: Either Grays (cold and horrid stand) or Woking (I'd say the worst as they only had pies as food for away fans).
Player of the Season: I said Breach he was consistent throughout the seaosn even when Cullip wasn't playing he also helped the youth players along when loosing (which was alot of the time.

High Point: Actually leading a conference game, going 2-1 up away at Burton
Low Point: Not seeing our away win at Salisbury
Funniest Moment: 1st friendly away at St Francis when Fenelon hit the bar from 2 yards out. The bar is still shaking now. QNK chatting up the Leiston barmaid with his cheeky "keep the change, twinkle" was amusing though Gareth!
Best Fans: Barrow. That was a long way to come.
Worst Fans: Lewes!
Best Away Ground: Wrexham
Worst Away Ground: Eastbourne.
Player of the Season: Banksie. Wonder save in first game v Kidderminster showed his shot stopping ability. Kicking improved and never let his confidence drop.

High Point: im struggling to find one but im going to say the noise created by the 50 of us up at Oxford on that freezing cold afternoon..one of the few away games i made this season and despite the result i still left with a smile on my face
Low Point: the Crawley game at home earlier in the season and realising so early on that we were not going to be able to keep up in this division :-(
Funniest Moment: "Lets all sell some scratchcards" and of course the barrow fans chant of "shoes off if you love barrow"
Best Fans: Barrow for there dedication and the comedy value with their chants and the fact they are the first bunch of fans ever to get a chant actually stuck in my head "we love you we love you we love you etc etc"
Worst Fans: would be too easy to say some our own throughout the season.....so im going to go with Eastbourne...just because it seems right to do so
Best Away Ground: Oxford...fantastic facilities..the fact there was nearly a toilet to every 2 rooks fans and the atmosphere and also that i was watching little lewes playing in such a big ground
Worst Away Ground: Woking..not too dissimilar to the pan on the facilities front for away fans but the terrace was absolutely pathetic!
Player Of The Season: either Joe Keehan for his sheer determination despite calls for his own father to be ousted out week in week out and the fact that toward the end of the season he did look like he was becoming the complete article..or David Wheeler...just because he plays the best football in my opinion...even though he didnt play that many games when he did he looked much better than everyone else in a rooks shirt and looks like he could be very good in the future
next season is huge for the rooks and i hope they can keep some of the current squad and push for may be another promotion.... then again i dont know if i could deal with another season like that again!

High point: Beating Oxford Utd 2-1 at the Pan was great. The drama was unforgettable and the team performance had me going for a few days, if cautiously!
Low point: The Leiston defeat was ghastly. We all suggested appropriate adjectives to describe that night on here. Amongst them were 'degrading', 'depressing' and 'demoralising'. Or was that the night of the Bognor embarrassment? We just got worse and worse.
Funniest moment: I'm with Rookboy on KK's collapse!
Best fans: It's got to be Barrow, surely?
Worst fans: I seem to remember that the Bognor lot rubbed it in.
Best away ground: Kidderminster Harriers. Look, it was either Kiddy or Grays! I couldn't bear to go anywhere else.
Worst away ground: Grays. Lifeless, boring and colourless.
Player of the season: David Wheeler. I can't understand everyone's sudden infatuation with Joe Keehan. Yes, he's consistent but that's about it! Danny Cullip was fantastic but, admittedly partly due to sentiment but partly because of his explosive attacking play, I say David Wheeler!

High Point: Oxford
Low Point: Where to start; no short sleeved shirts was pretty rubbish. Bognor was awful. The lack of anything approaching information from the top, the food, the drink....
Funniest Moment: Being in the away end during the Grays game with all the Norwegians.
Best Fans: The sight of that many Oxford fans was quite impressive.
Worst Fans: Us. The drop in attendance speaks for itself. Creepy's home support was dreadful as well.
Best Away Ground: Plainmoor
Worst Away Ground: Eastbourne
Player Of The Season: Chris Breach, barely put a foot wrong all year

High Point: The game against Altrincham - lowest crowd of the season 337 yet by far the most enjoyable game - we actually deserved to win and both goals were superbly taken. Low Point: For me the 2-3 home loss to Northwich - how we got 2 goals is beyond me. Best Away Fans: Barrow were hard to beat and Weymouth were by far the worst - attacking their players (literally at the end) throughout when they seemed to be giving their all. I've got to say you have to admire the likes of York, Barrow, Wrexham, Mansfield fans coming all this way to see not great games etc. How long before we see that size away followings again? The owners of the Kings Head and the Lansdown must be sobbing into their tills. Best Player: Has to be Wheeler e.g. when he came on against York the game changed completely - if we are honest only him and Cullip looked at least Conference class at all times.

Greetings from sunny Suffolk. Seems an age since our journey down in October. I have been keeping regular checks on your results and was disappointed to see you relegated but no doubt you were all preparing for the ineviatable. Interesting selection of highs and lows yet all seem to have the defeat to Leiston as your low. Funny as it was one of our highs(!) at the Dripping Pan especially your fans applauding us off at the end. Im pretty sure that the 'shoes off' song was started by our good selves. Sadly after Christmas our season tailed off culminating in a cup final defeat on Monday on penalties. Fixture back log, injuries etc etc. But we'll still have the FA Cup memories. Best of luck to you for next season and I hope you can make a quick return to the Conference.

High Point: The season ending. Keehan going.
Low Point: The Appointment of Keehan, Defeats to all low league clubs in cup comps, 18 in a row, not being appreciated by 9 out of the 11 players at York City, could go on but won't.
Funniest Moment: I'm struggling here.
Best Fans: Barrow home and away very friendly and a good laugh. Mind you some of the big team fans were OK as well when they invaded the Philcox stand.
Worst Fans: No real gripe with any.
Best Away Ground: York City not changed since league days and has character, don't like grounds such as Oxford as to modern with no identity.
Worst Away Ground: Leiston but only because out of all the grounds I went to last season it was the most basic, people and place I have no problem with.
Player Of The Season: Danny Cullip.

Personally I don't want to remember last season at all. I don't have much hope for next season either.
I honestly think QNK could run the club better and he's more immature than my 1yo niece!
