Most of the snow appears to have melted now and, because of the rain that has fallen, some of the ice that was around has now melted as well. Does anyone know how the pitch is looking at the moment because, as I have mentioned, conditions do seem to be improving?

My Dad is a Gardner, I'm sure he would have given a better price. How much does a garden fork cost these days?

It said on the BBC just now the forecast is -5 or -6 tonight, with sleet or snow predicted. I really can't see the game going ahead on that basis, it would be a problem travelling and there would be nothng worse than an abandonment part way through.

I really can't see the game going ahead on that basis, it would be a problem travelling and there would be nothng worse than an abandonment part way through. I have just seen this as well. Apparently there were blizzards on the M25 last night, which could affect whether Hampton & Richmond can travel to the game or not. Regarding the pitch, hopefully it has thawed out now, with the only possible problem being that there is a lot of water on the pitch. However, if the forecast is right, we could have a similar situation to last week, where part of the pitch freezes and makes the game unplayable. I know I have said it several times now, but it would be great if someone living near the ground could have a look at how the pitch is looking at the moment.

That was the last time I went to Borough. Being a Lewes Supporter I went a long to see what a BS south play off was like as we didn't need one that season.

I thought the pitch held up very well last night. There was snow over by The Rookery, but none of the players or officials seemed to lose their footing around this area of the pitch, so it was definitely playable.
