I got a good ticking off from Ray Bugg for mentioning Argentina. Ray wouldn't tell me the kit colour - so I asked at Intersport and there didn't seem to be a privacy issue. I do apologise to the whole club if I have spoiled anything. The launch of the new kit should still be a big thing, announcing the charity we're supporting.
Great write-ups of the match/experience both on our site and on the ball is round. Our away kit was red, probably because St Neots were in light blue. The pitch was flat and the ground was spotless – even the bar looked less than a year old and the whole place had won a best new ground award in 2008. King, a gift to headline writers, has anyone done King's Cross? Apparently I'm not to go near him for a few weeks.
I thought the new regime was to be as open with the fans as possible. Well, I have no proof that our away kit is the same as Mexico's home strip - and I don't know if the back of the sirts are plain or striped. All to be revealed then
By the way, I haven't felt so confident since just before my 50th, when we knew we were BSS champions. Do go to away matches - it's what non-league is about. I'm booking a one day boat trip from Oulton Broad and a one night stay in Lowestoft. Let's have a good turnout when we meet the Trawlers. I have no idea what shirts we will be wearing - honest.
