Lee was a great, great player for Lewes and it's easy to conjure up the old cries of 'Walking in a Newman Wonderland'. I've posted before how sorry I felt for him on the occasion of the Stoke game when he didn't get to play on that brilliant afternoon. So far as troubles with the law goes, most of us do something very stupid at some time or other in our lives and put ourselves in peril of the law. Usually it is motoring related. Usually when we are young. Lee crossed a line in respect of the drug culture but has paid his dues and that should be the end of it. I remember Brighton's Robert Codner got caught in possession but his playing career went on.
PS. Do I detect a slight Spanish accent to our new friend Howardcolumbo?

Lee knows he can still be a crowd favourite wherever he goes. If we see him again - for or against us - I'm sure he will receive a warm welcome.

Played with Lee at 14 and he was outstanding then. Spurs took him on as a kid but his size and weight meant he was let go. He is a natural goal scorer. Good luck to him.
