some blame must be shared with the directors of the time who apparently overlooked the fact that he had only ever coached Ansty Rangers stiffs and was totally unsuited to the job. Agreed, although I still don't understand all this. We were desperately short of money so we got rid of Kingy..............and then gave him a sizeable sum of money to go away. We then employ KK who puts himself on more money than his predecessor......... All water under the bridge of course, but why didn't we keep SK (and his payoff) and give him KK's budget to work with? What am I missing?

Didn't KK promise lots of lucrative commercial links or something like that?

Agree with Sin my opinionn about Magicman. He was banging his head against a brick wall with the previous board, and did all he possibly could before he understandably walked away.
As for PJ's comments about SK going and coming, it has been a weird time at the club. But if everything now shapes up as well as it's promising to do, I'm sure most of us will be happy to let bygones be bygones.
Must say I'm looking forward to the new season in a way I haven't for some considerable time, and that's without expecting instant promotion. Let's enjoy our football again!

MagicMan did his best and more than should have been expected from a sponsor. KK was found wanting and couldn't transfer his contacts from BHA to the Pan especially at a time when a recession hit. To be honest he was in a no win situation as some 'fans' had already made up their mind before a player had been signed or a ball kicked. Even had he managed to keep Lewes in the BSP many would not have acknowledged it. PJ.... let's not bring up the release of SK, it would be re-opening a can of worms. We've moved on :-)

Although Keehan was useless at least he found us Breach and Banks what has TOSH left us with? Agreed. All TOSH found were players who couldnt get into a side at Ryman one south level.

Everything ive heard about Duly and his family is that they are top people who help crawley establish themselves. and Duly then worked for crawley free of charge i recall.
