Just thought I'd let you know, Wormull has not offically signed for Lewes yet and is still in talks with you and other clubs.
From Sin my opinionn himself, Just thought I'd let you know.
Also look forward to paying a visit back to the pan when Crawley visit again.

I dont understand why would local newspapers have printed the story and why would the argus have quoted Ibbo saying “We spoke to Sin my opinionn over the weekend and we’re delighted he has agreed to join."

Perhaps he has been given a better offer since

Sussex Express says Wormull signed in the week and Ibbo is keen to play him center mid and not wide like he somtimes played under King. Also Ibbo wants the to sort the players he wants out before he is off on his holiday next week.

this article deffinatly says he has put pen to paper and surely Ibbo would not say these things if he was not signed up?

eastie are you posting in the know that Keehan has left? and how do you know that wormull is not signed as the newspapers are all saying he has put pen to paper. I was just about to ask the same thing. We have heard nothing as of yet about which players are going to be staying with us next season, so I'm not sure how someone can definitely know that Joe Keehan is leaving the club. If Eastie has heard that this is the case, it would be good if he could explain how he knows next time he is on here. In terms of Sin my opinionn Wormull supposedly having not signed yet, I can only think that this is not true, as it would not have been in both of our local papers and on the official website if he was still talking to other clubs about a possible move. In the article in The Argus last week, Ibbo said that he spoke to Wormull last weekend and he agreed to join, so this must surely be what is happening?

not just agreed to join but both papers use the word "sign" which indicates he has not just agreed to play for Lewes. Also as Ibbo says he is close to finalizing the squad I would presume he knows who will be staying/leaving and wants to sort it out by next week which means we should not be kept waiting too long on the Keehan subject. But yes if eastie does know something it would be nice to have an explanation rather than just stating Keehan has gone when it hasn't been reported anywhere else.

Pretty sure Joe Keehan has played his last game for Lewes. On his way to conference prem as far as i know. Don't want to say to much but i for one wish him all the best. It should all come out in the next week or so, once the manager from this particular club gets back from holiday and ties up all the loose ends of the deal. I believe it will be a very good deal for him with possible full time football.

Don't suppose you'd complain if he scored 18 goals from midfield...

Don't suppose you'd complain if he scored 18 goals from midfield... No of course not but conference football is somewhat different from BSS,as no doubt you know.I watched Lewes a number of times last season and if anyone in your midfield could make it in the conference, then it has to be Jack Walder.in my opinion

JK still did well in BSP with Lewes and scored a few goals (was it 6 or 7? Can't remember) in a side that was doomed from the start. You're right that Walder is an excellent player (hands off!) but he didn't score many goals. I understand that you are not necessarily looking for goals from a midefield player but it rather depends if you are the holding type player (Walder?) or the type that gets up and supports the strikers, playing "in the hole" (Keehan if asked to play that role?)
In fact you could say that as he's used to playing in the hole, JK should do alright if he goes to Priory Lane! [Sorry, below the belt I know!]
